Once upon a time, there lived a man who wanted to plan his 30th birthday party in a trendy district of San Francisco. Being the sophisticated and tech-savvy person that he was, he decided to plan his event on the internet. First, he tried using a popular online event planner. He found the site slow, cluttered, and too boring for his classy tastes. He then figured he would try some of the other online elaborate web event planning tools. They were too fancy and confusing for him. Frustrated and no closer to getting his event planned, he cancelled his birthday party.

He spent the next several months at a coffee shop, drinking his mochas and creating an online presence that would match his fabulous wardrobe. And that is how setdot was born. Planning for any event or occasion is as important as the actual event itself. setdot turns the planning process into an exciting new place where people can connect and be able to manage all of their events and plan their activities. After setdot was created, the man again attempted to plan his birthday celebration and needless to say, the man's party was a success. He envisions a day when people will not just plan an event, but 'setdot' it.
